This site is dedicated to the abolishment of all forms of economic exchange.

Abolish money.

Think about it.

Maybe it's the first time that you have considered this idea. You'd probably be in good company. After all, as we go about our busy daily lives, it's is not often that we find the time to do any grand philosophising, if we are inclined to do so at all. But we should.

Pick up a paper, tune into a radio or t. v. news cast or simply eavesdrop on a conversation and what you are bound to hear, sooner or later, is bad news. A drought here, a war there, disease, unhapiness. What a sorry state we are all in. But it doesn't have to be like this, because nature has provided us with two great gifts: 'free will' and intelligence. We are not bound by 'predestiny' and we can change things, but it requires deep self-examination and a universal commitment. A commitment, first of all, to abolish the drag-chain that encumbers people in nearly every society in the world: money.

Many economic models have been implemented, yet these models are only the modi operandi, the 'operating systems'. The 'hardware' is 'the hard stuff': money. Whatever models have been devised, they all have one thing in common, they all require a meduim of exchange. Quite simply, it is not possible to have an economy without one. It would be a bit like trying to play chess without any pieces of any sort. A capitalist economy, for example, is like a giant Monopoly* game. I do not think that is right for us to be players in a man-made game, especially where chance plays such a big part. It renders our lives as being at the mercy of such things as fluctuations in the price of stocks, makes it worthwhile for prostitution and drug dealing to be engaged in and we are all sellers and buyers. Money places a relative price on most things and has no inherent good morality.

There is an energy crisis going on in California, U. S. A. Deregulation in the electricity generation, distribution and supply industries has led to chaos with at least a couple of power companies almost going bankrupt. Rolling blackouts affect many. All thanks to money. Get rid of money and everything is free. Unlimited resources for healthcare including the development of new drugs, education provision at a standard unheard of now and so on, in short, progress at breakneck speed in all fields would ensure that the human lot was improved upon beyond recognition. Feed the world! Utopia here we come!

I know that many of you will have questions about this and I intend to give, at least brief, answers to them. At present, questions may be e. mailed (using the e. mail facility on the left) to me. Suitable questions and answers will be published on this site on the 'F A Q' page. Also, any comments or suggestions on the theme or, indeed, technical aspects (including difficulties) of this site are most welcome.

This site is not about abolishing capitalism.

(Please note that the above is a rough draft.)
